Love… grey, pink and gold

When we first decorated our bedroom, I went for the simple look of sanded floor boards, white walls etc.

Living in a home in which including the hound, is dominated by boys, I’ve decided to add a little pink. We’re currently in the process of redecorating and should have it finished in a few weeks time hopefully, so I’ll update you in full how it’s turned out then.

Here are some of my inspiration ideas and you can see more of them on my Pinterest bedroom board

Easter Eggstravaganza!

Easter doesn’t seem to Easter without the Eggstravaganza held at Pickwell Manor each year to raise funds for our school in Georgeham and a chosen charity which this year is for Georges First Steps.

A great turn out and some great fun was had by all with £1000 raised too!

The best Banana Muffins…in my opinion

Today we have the Eggstravaganza over at Pickwell Manor, this is in its fourth year & is a fund raiser for our school in Georgeham  and another chosen charity, this year it’s Georges First Steps.

So in the fashion of ‘Bring a Cake’ today I will be taking our ‘Home House’ banana muffins, made by the Mr and our guests have had to go without them today!

Banana Muffins Recipe

Makes 12

3 or 4 Large bananas, mashed (the more bananas the moister, so I use 4)1/2 cup white sugar (original recipe calls for 1 cup, but I don’t like them too sweet)

1 slightly beaten egg

1/3 cup melted margarine or butter

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups flour

Mix the mashed banana, sugar, egg and margarine together. Set aside. In a separate bowl, mix together baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour. Mix wet and dry ingredients all together! Pour into greased muffin tins, and bake in 180 degrees c oven for approximately 20 minutes. Enjoy!

Trunks

I bought these trunks recently with the intention of painting them in white or grey

So now all I need to do is find out what paint to use on them, all suggestions are welcome.
