A designer comes to stay…

It’s not very often you have someone walk into your garden & say ‘I designed that table & bench’, on further interrogation investigation, we discovered our new B&B guest, James Harrison, is part of an amazing furniture design company

A little bit about James UK

It’s hard to say which piece is my favourite, however, these are on the top of my wish list!

The May Chair

I have recently discovered Kelly Swallow, who creates unique patchwork designs on individually sourced vintage pieces, you can find plenty more images of her work on her website & follow her on twitter

This is her latest chair ‘The May Chair’, a grand scrolling wing back, on Queen Anne legs, full of contrasts and character in vintage and modern fabrics – a splendid mix of textures and colours from Designers Guild, Kenzo, Zoffany, Harlequinn, Andrew Martin and G P & J Baker.

Just beautiful, I hope you like it as much as I do!

Thank you Kelly for letting me show these pictures of your new creation.
